Laurel & Heather

Laurel & Heather asked me to do a combined engagement and family session shoot for them with their ten year old twin girls. With the weather in Boston finally feeling somewhat summerish we agreed it would be a lot of fun to head over to Breakheart Reservation in Saugus to get outside and engrossed in nature.

We had such a blast exploring the visitor center and as the weather quickly cooled the girls snugged up with a blanket I brought along which ended up being my favorite photos of them. We walked down the trail to the lake which provided ample opportunity for candid walking photos and ended our session on the beach with some great family photos.

The great thing about outdoor family sessions is the relaxing environment and endless background opportunities. What is more gorgeous than trees, flowers and a body of water as the perfect background setting to your photos? The kids gathered rocks, admired flowers, and loved the life guard bench at the swimming beach.
